Pal Kev is artist and photographer Kevin VanEmburgh. He creates large(r) abstract art that embodies mood, sense of place and time, sounds and the energy of the moment. He never knows how a painting is going to turn out, but instead tries to remain open to what it is trying to say as it comes into this world.
Drawing inspiration from daily life and travels both domestically and abroad, his art celebrates color, contrast, and the discovery of feelings and senses.

Pal Kev got his start as a photographer, and continues to take photos. This helped shape how he approaches his art. Working in both analog and digital art, he creates with an intention that is based in abstract work inspired by the desert, ocean and nature.
